Accutane is to be taken orally with a full glass of water, with or without food, unless your doctor says otherwise. Don't chew the pill before swallowing, to avoid irritation of throat. Keep to the regular time of the drug use for best results. In case you've missed a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it's too close to the time of the next dose, just skip the missed one and go back to the regular schedule of treatment. Do not take a double dose to catch up the schedule.
